Write to Your Councillor - Help Build Support for Change

Why Write?

Template letter

Your voice matters in creating a fairer education system. While the consultation is vital, it's equally important that councillors hear directly from residents who support making our schools more inclusive.

Taking action is simple:

  1. Find your local councillor using this link: https://democracy.brighton-hove.gov.uk/mgFindMember.aspx

  2. Write to them expressing your support for the proposed changes. Please copy in:

  • Council Leader Bella Sankey: bella.sankey@brighton-hove.gov.uk

  • Deputy Leader Jacob Taylor: Jacob.Taylor@brighton-hove.gov.uk

Councillors need to know there is support across Brighton & Hove for creating a fairer school system. Your personal message helps show that residents care about making our schools work better for everyone.

We've provided a template below to help you get started. Feel free to modify it and add your own thoughts and experiences. Personal stories and local connections make your letter more impactful.
